Rise & shine Liver nourishing porridge
Serving Size: 1
Our liver always needs a boost since it’s such an amazing super-power organ. Our liver is constantly working to filter our blood, hormones and toxins we consume through air, food and drink, not to mention what we take in the form of supplements, herbs and medication.
This is a great porridge to help overall support liver health. Hemp, Flax, and Chia seeds help reduce liver inflammation especially in cases with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Milk thistle has long been revered as a safe herb to gently allow liver detoxiciation with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Nothing worse than monthly cycle cramps no matter what stage you are in your menstrual cycle. This is a good preventative measure to prepare right at the beginning when cramps start. This tea works best when you are ready from the start.
Many of these herbs you can order online from reputable wholesale suppliers online like Mountain Rose Herbs in bulk at great prices. Or, you can go to your local herb shop when you have no time to wait for shipping.

wIND-DOWN MYLK
If you’ve come to see me in the office for a session then at some point I’ve recommended this recipe often referred to as Golden Milk. It’s the trend these days! Golden Milk’s roots are inspired out of the Ayurvedic tradition that inspires food as medicine to help balance what are called doshas. Similar in theory to the meridian system in East Asian medicine, it’s all about balancing what’s out of balance.
This particular recipe supports restful sleep, better digestion, and reduces inflammation.
PRO TIP: Add a teaspoon of ashwhaghanda powder to the recipe for even more added benefits. Ashwagandha is another Ayurvedic herb that acts as a adaptogen. This basically means, the wisdom of this root adapts to what your body needs. If you’re low on energy, it invigorates you. If you are super stressed, it regulates your central nervous system and calms you down.
